Cindy Tran is a student, writer, and editor from Boston, Massachusetts. Her pieces are usually written in bursts of energy found only in the latest hours of the night and are often based on her deepest infatuations and oddly philosophical shower thoughts. When she isn’t at her desk writing or editing, you can find her meticulously planning her life out in a worn black Moleskine journal or attempting to cram more books onto her already caving shelf.

Aspirations: To become an editor for one of the “Big 5” book publishing houses.

Leah Prodigalidad

Leah Prodigalidad is a high school senior in Boston, Massachusetts. She is an aspiring artist who previously worked with Boston’s Mayor Mural Crew and she hopes to one day illustrate her own children’s book. She loves to sing, dance, and make art but when she isn’t doing any of those hobbies, she is probably drinking coffee while adding stuff she won’t buy into her online shopping cart.

Favorite book: Purple Hibiscus by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

Aspirations: To hold her own art exhibition and start a cafe that provides a debut space for rookie artists/musicians/etc.

Alena Tran

Alena is an eighth grader from Boston who in her free time, enjoys reading anything and everything sci-fi or fantasy. If she’s not having an existential crisis about fictional characters, you can probably find her testing out strange filters on Instagram or struggling with catching bugs in Animal Crossing.

Aspirations: To work in a math-related field and to never stop reading.

Ayanna Miller

Ayanna is an English major currently studying at Cuesta College in California and will soon be transferring to a four-year university. She is passionate about mental health, self-development, and finding different ways to express herself either through writing or other art forms such as painting or embroidery. When she isn’t writing or studying, she spends most of her free time reading or journaling, playing board games with friends, and making playlists for every hypothetical situation she can think of.

Hye-won Yoo

Hye-won is a 16-year-old currently living in Michigan. She loves to spend her days re-reading her favorite books (while ignoring the mountain of books on her TBR), writing short stories, and procrastinating by watching random YouTube videos. She is 100% a night owl and will most likely not be fully conscious until at least 12 PM. Hye-won hopes to encourage other writers to go after their dreams and persevere through all the struggles they may encounter.

Gabby is a college freshman based in Boston, Massachusetts. She has a deep interest in STEM fields such as biology and chemistry, and has completed a data science research project on the genetics behind breast cancer. She has a passion for nature and animals, and is dedicated to learning as much as she possibly can. If she’s not outside reading, you can probably find her in the kitchen baking another loaf of bread.

Margaret is a sophomore studying English and creative writing at the University of Iowa. Margaret has had her work featured in Melted Butter Magazine, PLAYSET! Magazine, and other publications. When she isn’t reading or writing fiction as a means of escapism, she is spending an ungodly amount of time online watching overly long video essays on subjects varying from literary analysis to the detailed histories of old amusement park rides.

Aspirations: To actually finish one of her WIPs and become a published author.

Cyrene is a fifteen year old based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. She is very passionate about exploring concepts such as humanity and the importance of emotion through her work. In an effort to create a home for those who need it the most, she founded From You, a digital community project that allows a chance for expression and transparency through anonymity. Aside from writing, Cyrene enjoys capturing the world around her through her camera and watching films.

Isabella Melians (she/her) is a sophomore attending school in South Florida. She is the vice president of her school’s writing club, “The Writer’s Circle,” and has been published or is forthcoming in Rasa Review, Fever Dreams, K’in Literary Journal, Spillover Magazine, Ice Lolly Review, NonBinary Review, and other reviewers. In her free time, she enjoys playing the cello, painting, and rewatching Netflix Series.

Corianna Jackson is a full-time university student and can’t-find-the-time writer who thinks too much, stays up too late, and finds strong sentence structure sexy. When she’s not writing about love, emotions, and other deadly things, she’s inhaling new books, old TV, anime, and manga—all at the same time. She lives for amazing end-results and enjoys helping others reach the final product of their dreams too.

Sean Wang is a writer and editor from Singapore. You will find him walking art galleries with a tote bag while listening to SZA or Lana del Rey, film camera in hand. He also enjoys films about doomed romances, anime, plants, and retro-futuristic houses.

Norah Laughter (she/her) is a student from Russellville, Kentucky, who attends Greenwood High School in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She is an avid reader and writer and big believer in building community with collaborative Spotify playlists. In addition to writing, she is extremely passionate about climate justice and education equity. She is super excited to help others use writing as a means to understand themselves and their relationship with the world.

Hailing from just outside of Atlanta, Karina (she/they) is a Literature, Media, and Communications student at the Georgia Institute of Technology. When they’re not reading, writing, or pestering their friends about joining student radio, you can probably find them playing roller derby, rehearsing with their band, or curating hyper-specific playlists. Her favorite desserts are red bean cakes and she can’t survive a week without boba. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to edit and help other writers uncover the true texture of their work.

Callie Cheng

Callie currently lives in Vancouver British Columbia and is completing her final year of high school. She first developed a love of story beneath blankets under dimmed lights at bedtime through the words of her grandparents, and hopes to continue their legacies by one day having her own words published. Outside of writing, Callie plays the bass, and has also competed in numerous robotics competitions- she plans to further this passion by pursuing STEM in her post secondary studies.

Varrick Kwang is a twenty-year-old writer from Singapore who recently graduated trade school. He is known among his community for being a diehard crime fiction writer.
When he is not cooking up criminal schemes (it’s only for fiction, he insists), you’ll most likely find him training martial arts, working out, or binge-watching youtube.
Lover of all things art, he wishes to branch out further in film, vlogging and visual art.

Miriam Fernandez is a student, writer, an avid reader, a multi-instrumentalist, and a singer-songwriter from California. She’s passionate about education, giving back to the community, and strives to express herself through creative outlets like writing or music. She’s a fan of Marvel movies and Taylor Swift songs, especially watching WandaVision and has lately been listening to Folklore and Evermore. If she’s not playing music or procrastinating for exams, you can probably find her reading books from young authors or writing lyrical stories and marvelous adventures.

Solar Lin is a writer and book enthusiast who has always been fascinated by the world of fiction—especially ones with found family and heartfelt friendships. She started reading at the age of 3, writing at the age of 7, and her love for words has been growing more and more ever since. Cam Khalid is a twenty-something Singapore-born, London-based writer and editor with a penchant for curating Spotify playlists – and writing about music too. She has also covered various beats including film, fashion and food, but her main schtick is amplifying the voices of the underrepresented. Her byline has appeared in Time Out, Gal-Dem, Seasonings and more, and her poem was recently featured on billboards across the UK. She also has an affinity for black cats and has completed a course in Magic in the Middle Ages.

Emma Flynn is a poet and writer from South Florida. She is currently a high school senior who can’t survive without two cups of coffee a day. Besides writing, Emma adores all things outdoors and longs for an adventure more than anything else.
