Cindy Tran is a student, writer, and editor from Boston, Massachusetts. Her pieces are usually written in bursts of energy found only in the latest hours of the night and are often based on her deepest infatuations and oddly philosophical shower thoughts. When she isn’t at her desk writing or editing, you can find her meticulously planning her life out in a worn black Moleskine journal or attempting to cram more books onto her already caving shelf.

Alena is an eighth grader from Boston who in her free time, enjoys reading anything and everything sci-fi or fantasy. If she’s not having an existential crisis about fictional characters, you can probably find her testing out strange filters on Instagram or struggling with catching bugs in Animal Crossing.

Aspirations: To work in a math-related field and to never stop reading.
Olivia (sometimes endearingly referred to as Liv) is a sophomore student studying creative writing and marketing at the University of Denver. When she’s not exploring the unknown through her prose and poetry, she is hiking in the mountains, fishing, or baking a really complicated cake of some sort. She’s also the type of person who appreciates literary memes, so feel free to send them her way.

Ayanna is an English major currently studying at Cuesta College in California and will soon be transferring to a four-year university. She is passionate about mental health, self-development, and finding different ways to express herself either through writing or other art forms such as painting or embroidery. When she isn’t writing or studying, she spends most of her free time reading or journaling, playing board games with friends, and making playlists for every hypothetical situation she can think of.

Gabby is a rising high school senior based in Boston, Massachusetts. She has a deep interest in STEM fields such as biology and chemistry, and has completed a data science research project on the genetics behind breast cancer. She has a passion for nature and animals, and is dedicated to learning as much as she possibly can. If she’s not outside reading, you can probably find her in the kitchen baking another loaf of bread.

Aspirations: To become a veterinarian and to connect biomedical engineering to animals.
Hye-won is a 16-year-old currently living in Michigan. She loves to spend her days re-reading her favorite books (while ignoring the mountain of books on her TBR), writing short stories, and procrastinating by watching random YouTube videos. She is 100% a night owl and will most likely not be fully conscious until at least 12 PM. Hye-won hopes to encourage other writers to go after their dreams and persevere through all the struggles they may encounter.

J. M. Chadwick is a high school senior located near Boston, Massachusetts. She is an aspiring author of poetry, prose, and other written word. When she is not writing, she enjoys film photography and dancing. Margaret is a sophomore studying English and creative writing at the University of Iowa. Margaret has had her work featured in Melted Butter Magazine, PLAYSET! Magazine, and other publications. When she isn’t reading or writing fiction as a means of escapism, she is spending an ungodly amount of time online watching overly long video essays on subjects varying from literary analysis to the detailed histories of old amusement park rides.

Cyrene is a fifteen year old based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. She is very passionate about exploring concepts such as humanity and the importance of emotion through her work. In an effort to create a home for those who need it the most, she founded From You, a digital community project that allows a chance for expression and transparency through anonymity. Aside from writing, Cyrene enjoys capturing the world around her through her camera and watching films.

Charlie is a sociology and philosophy graduate, currently freelance writing and blogging in London. Lover of yoga, spirituality, and house plants (which she inevitably leaves to die). Aspirations: To spread love and visit as many countries as possible and to become so enlightened that her overthinking brain pipes down for a second.
Gina Bowen lives, breathes, and photographs the mountains of Eastern Tennessee. She spends her time writing poetry and short stories on her porch and getting lost in the woods to photograph the beautiful landscapes with her two pups, Tormund Giantsbane and Jolene. Gina’s writing has appeared in a variety of magazines and you’ll never find her without a giant cup of coffee.

Grace is a final year Uni student, studying for a BA in English Literature. Having been a competitive swimmer all her life, she can usually be found in the pool (swimming backstroke well and breaststroke poorly) with either her local or University swimming club, the latter of which she is President of. More recently Grace has taken up water polo, cycling and roller-skating and though these hobbies make her sound obscenely active, she also enjoys the more sedentary activities of crocheting, watching the Formula 1 and, of course, reading.

Yanitta Iew is a high school student from Bangkok, Thailand. She writes poetry, short stories and screenplays when she isn’t drowning in a sea of homework. When she isn’t writing, she’s listening to slam poems, binge-watching Gilmore Girls or has her eyes glued to an award-winning screenplay.

Isabella Melians (she/her) is a sophomore attending school in South Florida. Trini is a high school junior living in Arlington, VA. When she’s not attempting to scribble down a half-formed poem, you’ll most likely find her procrastinating on physics homework, fiddling with four marimba mallets, or sleeping. When she is not bent down over Japanese and German textbooks, she is most certainly stuck with her nose in a good book or in her laptop screen, writing and editing her latest creations. Grayson is a 21 year old multifaceted artist, honors graduate from Booker T. Abbey is a high school student living in Vancouver, British Columbia.
